I have volunteered tutoring classmates since middle school. My best subject areas are math and science. I am very passionate about science as I hope to have a career in astronomy (the study of space) in the future. I also enjoy math. It is like a puzzle that I enjoy solving. I have also tutored my father with college classes such as biology and chemistry. I am very patient with students. I first give the time to try to figure out the problem or explain what they already now then I use that information to teach then what they need to learn. I was an assistant teacher to a 3rd grade class at Wilson's Mills Elementary from 2001 until 2003. My duties included assisted the teacher and helping the students in a manner to help them learn at their pace. And I also have an 8 year old son who attends River Dell Elementary.
