I acquired a Bachelors of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from the University of MN, Duluth. I also have a broad math and physics background, and have a great enthusiasm for both. I would very much like to enter the teaching world so that I might share the knowledge that I have acquired over the years. I am an international student and since I came to UMD tutoring and mentoring became my favorite occupation. I have been tutoring students in a variety of classes of different categories. I tend to teach things in a visual way. Drawing pictures, diagrams and using visual aides are the best ways I have witnessed to teach kids. I also think a structured reward system is HUGE in motivating kids to succeed.
