My comments on tutoring Journalism : I have written articles for newspapers and magazines which have been received very well. Writing journalistically is different from writing other kinds of material, and the student must know the difference. I teach that.

I have been teaching many years, and I make sure I keep very much up to date with the teaching styles and ideas in use today, I have bona fide references available from students and their parents, (past and present) to show prospective students. I have worked with students for whom English is a second (or third or fourth) language). I have worked very successfully with students who have had a learning disability or physical or emotional or mental problem of some kind.
