I understand that all children learn differently and I am able to adapt my teaching style to fit the child. I am both patient and positive and I like to give the student confidence. A Little Bit About Me...

I'm currently attending American Military University, with less than a year to graduate with a bachelor degree in Public Health, which allows me to have a better understanding in health science related subjects. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers. In addition I have experience in teaching, coaching and mentoring soldiers in the United States Army as a squad leader.
Each child learns in different ways, and as a Tudor/teacher it is my responsibility to discover the method of teaching that matches a child’s way of learning. Each person is different and as a tutor one has to be very empathic, patient, and understanding. By knowing the child you're working with and understanding their way of learning, you can adjust your methods to accommodate them, that way being more effective. Something very importatn that I have learned when tutoring, is to make them feel smart and give them positive affirmation when they learn something and reach a goal. As an Education major graduate I am driven to challenge and reinforce students in order to obtain a high level of performance. In college I achieved a triple minor in English, Psychology and Science. I did this with the intent that strong content knowledge will greatly affect student achievement along with excellent teaching strategies.
