As an Education major graduate I am driven to challenge and reinforce students in order to obtain a high level of performance. In college I achieved a triple minor in English, Psychology and Science. I am most comfortable teaching with prek-5th grade students, because that is my area of expertise. I have many years of elementary reading tutoring experience. This started at a young age, as my mother was an elementary public school remedial reading teacher. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a private school, which left me with certain vacation times differing. Rather than getting a sitter and have me stay home my mother took me to her school with her to have me assist and help out with the students and their reading difficulties.
