A Little Bit About Me...

I'm currently attending American Military University, with less than a year to graduate with a bachelor degree in Public Health, which allows me to have a better understanding in health science related subjects. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers. In addition I have experience in teaching, coaching and mentoring soldiers in the United States Army as a squad leader.
Each child learns in different ways, and as a Tudor/teacher it is my responsibility to discover the method of teaching that matches a child’s way of learning. I am patient, understanding and provide a constructive approach to learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I understand that all children learn differently and I am able to adapt my teaching style to fit the child. I am both patient and positive and I like to give the student confidence. My goal is to not only help the child learn, but to also give them a sense of confidence. It is important that each student believe in his or herself as well as their capabilities.
I have been working with children for several years. I started by teaching dance at a local dance studio while I was in high school. It was from this experience that I chose to go to college to become a teacher. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am ESOL certified. I have experience as a substitute teacher and have worked with both elementary and middle school students.

I love working with children and young adults. As a Music major, I have been giving singing, piano, and theory and sight singing lessons for many years.
