I like to first get an idea of what the student knows about the problem.. I find that the more time I spend listening to what they know it naturally turns into what pieces I need to add-in. Unless they came to the session to learn new material that would be a different scenario entirely in which it would depend on the student how I taught. I would have to find out what type of a learner they are. Whether it be a visual learner, if they need examples or are an entirely conceptual type of learner. Throughout college I had extensive experience working with classmates while we solved math equations and physics problems together. I've worked as an engineer in the electronics and electrical engineering industry for 14 years.
