Since graduating from college with BS degrees in physical science, chemistry, and environmental education, I have taught math (basic through pre-calculus) and science (biology, chemistry, physics, life science, physical science) 5th through 12th grade in both private and public schools. I worked two years at a Sylvan Learning Center as a Lead Teacher (and Director of Education) in almost all of their programs (Writing, Academic Reading, General Math, Algebra, Geometry, and SAT prep). Quantitative problems require self-confidence,I help students develop poise. I have earned dual undergraduate degrees, a BA in Mathematics and a BA in Economics, from Eastern Washington University.
