A Little Bit About Me...

I am a student a middle school math education major at FSU here in Tallahassee. I am currently a senior who is set up to graduate at the end of the year. The FSU program is a well respected one with several accreditations. I come from a diverse background in mathematics. I have taken and done well in all math classes that I have taken here at the university. I have worked with many different types of students and I am able to accommodate to different learning styles.
I am a student centered teacher. I like to use activities that encourage and motivate the student to explore the problem. I am a patient and encouraging person. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with youth for over ten years. As a private music instructor and substitute teacher I have had the opportunity to work with students K-12 with a wide array of abilities. During the school year of 2009-2010 I was a para-professional in a Kindergarten PDD class (pervasive development disorder/autism) where I helped administer IEP directed lessons for 8 children on the spectrum. I have developed lesson plans for both my private students and the music production programs I've directed for the past 4 years. I have subbed in all subjects and can compensatory teach/tutor in Math, English, History, and Science at an elementary and middle school level.
