I like to find out what the student's biggest concerns are, clarify any confusion, and then run through practice problems by demonstrating and guiding. I was a peer tutor at Mount Marty College for three years in Yankton, South Dakota. While there, I tutored college students English, writing, religious studies, critical thinking in ethics, and speech. I love helping students improve their writing skills. I have personally taken the ACT-32, the GRE-80 percentile, and the LSAT-currently awaiting score.

I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education. My original interest was teaching instrumental music. Although I changed majors and ultimately graduated with a BS in Computer Science, I have continued my interest in teaching, first by volunteer tutoring during college and later by helping adults learn to speak English.
