I have also been a high school / middle school teacher in social studies / history / humanities for the past 4 years. I'm now working on my Masters at UH-Manoa. When I meet with a new client I create a plan by finding out where they are having trouble with starting with the basics. I make sure each client is prepared with all the basic tools to succeed before moving on to a new section. It is important to have to basics mastered to avoid having problems in the future.
