Experience Summary
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from every degree I have. I tutored students maths/sciences for 8 years, and I also taught High School English for one year.
I worked as a national park ranger for 14 years, in which I gave daily multiple professional talks on many subjects and also taught children and wrote/gave puppet shows.
I also worked for Emory University School of Medicine and Florida Institute of Technology. I counseled homeless veteran drug addicts. I excel with compassionate communication and listening skills.
Teaching Style
Each student is unique and has their own learning style. It is vital to teach the person according to their unique needs and abilities. I am a compassionate, caring teacher who loves children and also the material. I also believe that a big block to learning is often either confidence or study methods they have been taught in past. Through guidance and encouragement, these both can be greatly improved. I work very well both one on one and in groups.
