My teaching style could best be described as democratic and socratic. I believe all teachers need to be well prepared for the classroom and ready to shift gears when a question might demand it. For example you maybe able to go over material once with a child and they get it and others it takes more time or you have to ask them more questions about their interests and base the learning activity geared toward their interests, this will hold their attention and they will want to learn the material.
