I teach beginner Spanish to students wanting to learn a new language. Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. I also have a Master's degree in Reading. I have been teaching elementary students for 8 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade students in the classroom. I love teaching young students and seeing them grow and succeed. I have been attending Northern Illinois University for the past 3 years and so far have had a great experience. I am double majoring in Spanish and geography and have had good success in both subject areas with a cumulative GPA of 3.95. They are both interests of mine and I have definitely improved during my time at NIU.
