I have been attending Northern Illinois University for the past 3 years and so far have had a great experience. I am double majoring in Spanish and geography and have had good success in both subject areas with a cumulative GPA of 3.95. They are both interests of mine and I have definitely improved during my time at NIU. I think I am qualified to share what I've learned with others who need help in either area and really enjoy working with people.
I think teaching style should depend on the student. Some people move at different paces or learn better from listening or from doing the work themselves with supervision and help. I am flexible with any style and once I become familiar with a person it becomes easier to see how they learn best.

In the time that I’ve spent tutoring Spanish, what I’ve always found to be true is that in order to succeed, a student needs to have an approach to the material that works for them on a personal level.
