As an Engineer I have used Excel everyday for the last 7 years. I am a power-user and I have tutored college students on the practical application of Excel, for solving business problems. Patient, hands on, example based, and repetition. I worked as a math tutor for grades six through eight at Kennedy Middle School, Atlanta, GA. I tutored students on a one-on-one basis and in groups up to five students at a time. I also worked for the Atlanta Public Schools, Homework Hotline as a Math tutor K-12 for 2 years. I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and a Certificate in Computing which is one step down from a minor. The statistics degree program had a heavy emphasis in mathematics, so a lot of my course work contained math classes. I have always been in advanced math classes and have been tutoring friends, family, and colleagues since High School. I will be starting at the University of Kentucky in August 2012, preparing for a Masters in Statistics, and available for tutoring the end of August/early September 2012.
