I graduated from Dillard University in New Orleans, La., where I was a tutor for the Saturday Science Academy. In the program, I was responsible for following a strict lesson plan designed to prepare the students for the yearly LEAP Exam, which is equivalent to the Memphis City School's TCAP. I focused on students in grades fourth and fifth in mathematics and reading comprehension.
