I have taught for over 10 years privately. I have had students that have been in the Memphis Youth Symphony,All- West Orchestra,All-State Orchestra. I have also have had students to receive sizable scholarships from University Of Tennessee Knoxville,University Of Memphis,University Of Miami,University Of Southern Mississippi,University Of Mississippi,Cincinnati Conservatory,Bethel University,Jackson State University,and Tennesse State University,etc.

A Little Bit About Me...

Positive Coaching for all ages. I have enjoyed teaching children as young as 2 years, intermediate level students, and also group lessons for adult beginners. I believe in quiet, positive coaching that draws out the best music in every student. I have taught autistic children as well, and I have been impressed with the progress that all my students make.
Suzuki violin/viola - I have registered credits through Book 4 at the Suzuki Association of the Americas. College level violin/viola - I have over 20 years experience teaching college level students. Adult Beginners - My adult beginners have been able to perform in public within 2 years of study. I hold a Bachelors of Music, Performance, from Memphis State University, and a Masters of Music, Performance, from the Brooklyn College, CUNY.
