A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed teaching and tutoring a wide range of students in a vast array of different settings. Most recently, I have tutored reading to 4th graders at an elementary school, taught ESL and GED subjects to adults through an adult education center, and taught creative writing to 5th-8th graders at a summer camp. I have also tutored Japanese-speaking businessmen in English as well as American culture, and tutored a family from Hong-Kong in English communication, writing, and college preparation. I completed all of the Houghton/Mifflin Language Arts training sessions that taught California teachers how to be expert Language Arts teachers. I have also attended many Language Arts training sessions through my school district and county education offices. I also ran Language Arts and ESL Intervention programs at my school.
