My philosophy is that tutoring is a short-term service to assist students, and therefore, each student is limited to 8 sessions each semester. I lean towards conversational lessons which I feel allows the student to better internalize the learned language. Some fun ways of learning new language can also involve Italian cooking lessons (learning, in Italian, how to make a traditional Ragout Bolognese for example). Textbooks and exercises are mostly used as a way of introducing new language and reviewing what has been learned.
