"Scaffolding" is the best means by which to teach so that the student understands the significance of the lesson. Too often, teachers play sage-on-stage, thereby neglecting to connect what the student already knows with the new material.

I will have graduated from the University of California, Irvine as of June, 2015 with a B.A. in Cognitive Sciences.
