I have been tutoring for the same college for 14 years. I enjoy helping people do well in their classes. I am a people person and will always listen first to what the tutee has to say so that we can better address their area of trouble. I'm also very patient. I have been tutoring math through College Algebra although I have taken classes beyond that. I can also tutor the chemistry class for nurses (Introduction to Chemistry), and Elementary Spanish. **As far as geometry tutoring, I CAN NOT do proofs, but everything else is welcomed. In contrast to many of the other tutors, I would not presume to even imply that I could teach your student either math or English in a few hours of tutoring. What I can do is teach your student to be very 'test wise', teach them some easily applied techniques that will get them successfully past most of the math/geometry problems, teach them how to use the grading bias to score well on a less than stellar composition, and teach them how to find the 'key' to the reading comprehension questions.
