I have taught and tutored in the education field for over 20 years. I have taught 5th and 6th grade been a substitute teacher in Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have over 10 years of experience teaching developmental and freshmen composition courses at the college level and have also directed the composition program at Fresno Pacific University. More recently, I am working as an elementary school administrator and I continue to work at the college level by teaching professional development courses about writing to other college faculty. I believe that my teaching style is personal and individualized. I like to make sure that I know my student as a person so that I can create a successful working relationship with them.
