Experience Summary
I'm currently enrolled in Kaplan University pursuing my certification to become a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions. I have completed High School and obtained my Diploma in 2014. I am currently tutoring a middle school student (8th grade) in all given subjects. I range from simple homework help to comprehension of certain subjects.
Teaching Style
I love to interact with children. I believe that children should be involved with their school work. Hands on work and visual interactions help when certain curriculums don't sink in. Involving children to learn, beyond taking notes, helps them understand difficult subject and also helps them retain them better to memory.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading and writing. I write multiple blogs and I am in the process of writing my own books. I also enjoy painting and drawing as well as swimming. I was on the High school and local swim team for a total of 9 years.
Other Comments
I attend school from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. I am open to tutoring any hours that don't overlap with my school hours. I am available on all weekdays and weekends.
