During my time as a substitute teacher I encountered students with different types of learning abilities. This makes it challenging to teach concepts to the students since each student learns differently. While earning my probationary teacher’s license in Teachers for the 21st Century I learned the most effective way to teach concepts to students with different learning abilities is through the use of the Bloom method. This method will enable students to comprehend, retain, and apply the knowledge that is given to them which will help develop the students cognitive skills. I finished my associate’s degree in 1 year. The day I graduated I was asked to join the faculty of the community college. I taught there for 3 years and reached the highest academic rank available to me. In addition to the technical skills required of drafters, and renderers, I bring a high level of artistic training, graphics arts experience and design drafting expertise with me and I use all of it for the benefit of my students I have taught widely varying subjects to many kinds of students.
