Ahrend R. Torrey is a Mississippi spiritual poet- painter. His poetry relates to nature and spirituality but most of all life and what he experiences through his life journey. Torrey delights in the fact that all things are poetry, and strives daily for the creative mission for which he has been called. Torrey began writing poetry and painting at age 14; from the time of discovering his talent he held a conviction that his work would one day touch the world. I am an educator both by heart and by trade. It is my desire to extend my love of learning to students. This love includes both reading and writing. I have taught a wide range of students both in ages and in ethic backgrounds. I believe that any subject can be taught and understood in taught in a fashion best understood my the student.
