English ESOL is one of my top subjects! In 2012 I received my TEFL certification from the International TEFL Academy. Since that time I have been teaching English as a second language in Costa Rica with two language institutes. I have experience with all levels of English proficiency. My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I tutored ESL students for 3 years at an academy and privately. I am currently enrolled in a class to receive a TEFL/TESOL certification.

In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. Homeschooling has worked well for him and his younger sisters so I have continued even though his health is far better. He is now entering 6th grade. My oldest daughter is 9 years old and beginning 6th grade math and 5th grade Language Arts. My 3 year old daughter is learning to read and my 16 month old daughter is along for the ride. As an undergraduate at NYU, I earned that extra spending money by tutoring Latin. As my customer base grew, I branched out into mathematics and general study skills. As an undergraduate at Middlebury College, I volunteered to teach beginning German at a local elementary school.
