As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. Although, I tutor in all of the academic areas, I also enjoy helping my student appreciate the art of becoming a good writer, and thinkers. My students are also encouraged to read for relaxation, and entertainment. Making the education process fun is also an asset. As a tutor in college, our philosophy was to show the students how to learn the subject matter by incorporating memorization games and problem solving techniques for the classes that they were having difficulty with. I believe that communication is key to the student’s success. I would discuss with the student what they are having difficulty with and then develop tutoring sessions around those needs. I will adapt my sessions to reflect the changes in the student’s requirements.
