A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor in college, our philosophy was to show the students how to learn the subject matter by incorporating memorization games and problem solving techniques for the classes that they were having difficulty with. I believe that communication is key to the student’s success. I would discuss with the student what they are having difficulty with and then develop tutoring sessions around those needs. I will adapt my sessions to reflect the changes in the student’s requirements.
I graduated from the University of Maine with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn. At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving. I believe tutoring a child can be a powerful tool, and it can also unleash a potential genius.
As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. I have many years esperience as an analyst, manager, executive, consultant, intructor, tutor, and teaching assistant. I am in three Who's Whos, 1 WW in US Colleges and Universites, 2 WW Among Executives and Consultants, 3 WW website for Martial Artists.
