I have over four years of experience as a reading tutor, two years as a behavioral assistant tutoring an autistic child in language, math, and reading, and am currently tutoring students in basic math and reading. I have volunteered in many hours in several first grade classrooms, and am currently in school to get a teaching credential. My teaching style is playful. I tailor the experience of reading to each child so that they experience both success and challenge. Learning language patterns, word recognition, and decoding are all skills I teach.
