An experienced tutor who knows how to make learning fun!

My teaching style is playful. Students respond best when tutoring doesn't seem like work. As much as possible I turn lessons into games, taking what would be boring and making it fun.
I have over four years of experience as a reading tutor, two years as a behavioral assistant tutoring an autistic child in language, math, and reading, and am currently tutoring students in basic math and reading. I have volunteered in many hours in several first grade classrooms, and am currently in school to get a teaching credential.

I'm a senior in high school, and I tutor classmates and my younger brother age 11 and his friends. He is in the fifth grade, and it is really easy to tutor him. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I am in the process of becoming an elementary school teacher, therefore I am familiar with the lesson plans within K-5th grade.

I am a Sophomore attending Sonoma State to receive my Teaching Credential and Bachelors in Liberal Arts within four years. I have over seven years experience teaching within a classroom, and teaching students one on one. I really love to teach and I not only can teach mostly everything in an elementary school, and some subjects in middle school and high school, but I also have a lot of experience in extracurriculars.
