My comments on tutoring Drawing : I have been drawing all my life. I focus more on abstract art and some realism. I also know other styles of mark making other than the use of graphite on paper.

I have been an artist since day one of my existence. I followed my passion for art throughout my educational career and pursued a Bachelors of Fine arts from San Jose State University. There, I focused my artistic desires on a degree in studio practice which schooled me in many forms of art from drawing, painting and some sculpting.
I like to give a hands on demonstration and then offer support and constructive criticism to those who are learning. Art should be fun and an extended expression of the individual wanting to learn more about it.

A Little Bit About Me...

I currently have my California substitute teaching credential. I have worked previously for Placed County Office of Education and Yuba County Office of Education, substitute teaching. I currently work for Paradise Oaks Youth Services as a residential counselor, specifically on the 7 to 3 shift, tutoring the kids to help them complete their individual school program. At Paradise Oaks Youth services I work with emotionally disturbed teenage boys, but as a substitute teacher, I worked K12 and special education. I started tutoring classmates in seventh grade and tutored friends in college in Trigonometry. I have earned two BS degrees in Landscape Architecture and Computer Science with a minor in Math. this diverse education allows me to tutor in Math and Science as well as design and art. I have tutored part-time since 2004, mostly in high school Math, but have also assisted in Chemistry, CBEST, SAT, and GRE prep. My first visit is just an assessment of where the student began to get lost regardless of the age or level.
