Marine Biology is one of my top subjects!

I have worked in the aquarium industry for 19years. I have indepth knowledge, practical skills related to the marine science field. I grew up in a VA suburb of Washington, DC and spent my summers and holidays from college as a page, intern, and tour guide in the US Capitol. I have a passion for learning that I would love to share with students in need. My most recent job as Associate Curator at the Georgia Aquarium required that I have indepth knowledge of a wide variety of marine and freshwater habitats, ecology, fish ID, water chemistry, and management of a team of biologist.
I think science is fun and exciting. I like to teach with a hands on approach.

After earning my bachelor degree in biology, I worked as an educator at the South Carolina Aquarium where I taught interactive classes to kindergarten, middle school and high school students.
