While a Biological Sciences major at Brigham Young University Idaho I took several different math courses that were above and beyond those required for my degree. I excelled at each of the classes that I took, and was actually recruited by my calculus teacher to become a statistics and calculus tutor at the university math lab. A Little Bit About Me...

I have yet to complete my senior year of studies at the University but I will be done by Spring 2011. I am working towards my first Bachelors Degree, BS in Physics and will continue with school after until I get my MS in Chemical Engineering. Physics and Chemistry have always come easy to me and I know that because of this I can help others understand these sometimes tougher subjects easier.
My teaching style might be a bit unorthodox but it is something I have acquired from past teachers and tutors. In college I had the opportunity to work as a peer tutor and also as a tutor for high school students through the Upward Bound program. I did this via face to face as well as through phone tutoring. Upon graduating I was lucky enough to get a full time job with the Upward Bound program and continued to tutor as well as train tutors. Seven years ago I had the opportunity to enter the teaching arena and have enjoyed a wide array of subjects.
