I really love working with young people and helping them to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I do not teach the material necessarily, but I help to facilitate the learning process and reiterate what has already been explained and taught in the classroom (hopefully). When I started at UCF, I was invited to join a cohort of students who were on the path to become Educators, the STEP Program. This allowed me early on to get into a classroom and volunteer with students. These early experiences made me know for certain that my passion was in teaching. In Spring 2010, my degree in Elementary Education was conferred. Over the summer I worked for a Girl Scout day camp, and then was hired by the Citrus Council.
