Experience Summary
During my undergraduate studies at the Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University, I have gained a passion for learning about math and the social sciences. I have earned a bachelor degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Studies. I have taken math courses ranging from College Algebra to Calculus II to Math for Liberal Arts. I have used statistical sampling for my undergraduate research thesis. In addition, I have learned to hone my research and literary skills through the many articles, books I have read and written papers that have been assigned. I am comfortable tutoring math, biology, and economics as well as a few other areas in the social and biological sciences.
Teaching Style
Through working for youth camps and volunteering I have gained a passion for teaching and encouraging youth to develop themselves into successful leaders, and it is something that I want to continue to do. With the experience I have gained empowering individuals while testing my own resolve under pressure in environmental summer camps as well as the experiences and the strong intellectual preparation of my undergraduate education. I am confident in my ability to improve the welfare of students by working towards strengthening their education and encouraging them to attain their greatest potential.
