Experience Summary
I have an undergraduate and master's degree, both focused in religious studies. I taught for two years at a private school here in Orlando. I taught middle school English and Bible. I have also been working with Valencia Community College (east campus) as a tutor for many different subject areas. I have also done some tutoring on the side in reading, grammar, math, religion, history, etc.
Teaching Style
I really love working with young people and helping them to reach their full potential. As a tutor, I do not teach the material necessarily, but I help to facilitate the learning process and reiterate what has already been explained and taught in the classroom (hopefully). I enjoy helping students learn, no matter what the subject is. Young people truly are the future, and as an educator I feel compelled to invest in their academic experience.
