Hi! I am a certified math teacher with 20 years of experience working with students from elementary school through college. I have a Master's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Education also. I am very comfortable teaching all different age groups and enjoy working with students one-on-one. One-on-one teaching helps me understand their strengths and weaknesses. My educational career was full of challenges that have given me a broad basis of knowledge for tutoring. In high school, I earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. I subsequently earned a BS in Ceramic Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management. I am the first and only person in my family to graduate from college. Growing up, I saw how difficult life can be when one lacks formal education. I was determined to learn as much as I possibly could and landed scholarships to pay my way through undergraduate school. I graduate in three years by taking overloads. I then pursued my MA because I loved being in the classroom so much. As a graduate assistant, I taught news writing for one year, which I loved.
