My goal is to connect with the student at THEIR level. We start by going over the basics of problem solving and work from there to foster independent thinking. I am the first and only person in my family to graduate from college. Growing up, I saw how difficult life can be when one lacks formal education. I was determined to learn as much as I possibly could and landed scholarships to pay my way through undergraduate school. I graduate in three years by taking overloads. I then pursued my MA because I loved being in the classroom so much. As a graduate assistant, I taught news writing for one year, which I loved.
