I am presently working as a substitute teacher. I am certified to teach mathematics in 7th to 12th grades. I have recently passed the Praxis II tests to teach science in 7th to 12th grades. I teach almost every day and I usually teach math or science classes. Previously I worked as an engineer. During this time I mentored and trained new engineers. I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. Since I find Biochemical processes so exciting, it is easy for me to get other students excited about them as well. Many students feel that the sciences are boring and dull. However, when I explain the processes to the students in their own terms instead of the textbooks they begin to realize that it can be fun!
