A Little Bit About Me...

I am presently working as a substitute teacher. I am certified to teach mathematics in 7th to 12th grades. I have recently passed the Praxis II tests to teach science in 7th to 12th grades. I teach almost every day and I usually teach math or science classes. Previously I worked as an engineer. During this time I mentored and trained new engineers.
I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. I have chosen to be a teacher because I believe I can make learning fun for my students. I like to relate subjects to each other so that students can see how everything is actually intertwined. I would to teach math because I have been applying math my entire life. I have a four year degree in mechanical engineering technology. I have used math extensively in my everyday job. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a strong desire to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources. This degree has helped me understand many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned grammatical skills from writing research papers and essays for various areas of study. In the last four years I have tutored students in reading and math at the elementary and middle school level.
