Anatomy is one of my top subjects! Have had both undergraduate and medical school level of education related to anatomical science including cadaver lab. Have tutored first year med students as well as undergraduates. Have performed hundreds of surgeries as a surgical resident.

I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. I began my experience teaching at a small school. I taught 7/8 grade general science, ninth grade earth and space science, and tenth grade biology. I worked at this school for two years, before relocating. I then worked with a tutoring service. I tutored elementary students in a private setting (in homes) in reading and math. I also taught seventh grade science at another small school.
Teaching is more than a job for me, I really enjoy helping my students. I believe that all children have the ability and the desire to learn. Some students need a little more attention and enouragement. I enjoy getting to know my students so that I can find their strengths and weaknesses and build on them.

A Little Bit About Me...

While at Virginia Tech, I dedicated much of my time to volunteering. Here I fell in love with serving others. During this time, one of the programs I volunteered for was an after-school teaching program. Here, I tutored elementary-aged children in english, science, and math. I enjoy helping others learn!
