Through high school and college, I have always excelled in academics. I received a 3 or better on multiple AP classes through high school: AP Spanish, AP Biology, AP Statistics and AP Calculus AB. I was given college credits for those classes, but also completed many other classes at the University of Florida, including: Writing about Literature, Astronomy, Physical Geography, Math for LS Majors, Educational Psychology, Classroom Reading, American Literature, and Introduction to Philosophy. I am more capable as a teacher and mentor to students in middle school and high school. While I have a lot of experience with elementary students, I find my best impact on middle and high school students. I like to use the Socratic method in which I try to make the student answer there own question, by posing other logical questions in which they can deduce the resolution. As a graduate of the University of Florida, I studied Physics and played football as well. Earning a Bachelors degree in Physics, I studied all levels of Calculus, Differential equations, linear algebra, thermal physics, electromagnetism, chemistry 1 and 2, mechanics, quantum mechanics, and many other classes. I am currently an English major at the University of Florida, looking to finish my undergraduate education in two semesters and graduate with honors and a Bachelor of Arts. I am patient and relaxed. I have to be - I have three children under age 11 at home.
