I enjoy teaching children especially teenagers. As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. My major is in Sociology, but I believe that helps me in pin-pointing the most important aspects of helping children individually in different social settings. Education is very important to me. Just recently, I have graduated with honors and magna cum laude from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. My undergraduate GPA in college was 3.95 and my High School GPA was a 3.98. In the past four years, I have taught Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry laboratory. I have also tutored students in chemistry and statistics in the past. Math and science are areas that I am very passionate about. In every class that I've taken, I have helped my peers to grasp the material by spending additional time in "study groups".
