I have taught three years of Kindergarten, numerous years in Preschool and also substitute teaching grades PreK - 8th. I was Assistant Director and managed over 50 staff at a Child Care Center.I have tutored children in the past with a variety of subject areas. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I am originally from Chile and have lived here the majority of my life. I took English as a Second Language classes after being here for 4 years, so I could perfect my English. I speak Spanish fluently, it is my native language.

I am from Chile, so I speak Spanish as my native language. After being here for a few years I decided to take ESL classes to perfect my English, where I learned many things about teaching a second language to someone. After being taught how to speak another language, mainly from immersion, I have learned many extremely useful techniques to help students learn Spanish.
I like to start out with the basics and work on individual words, nouns, verbs as well as working on common phrases. Then we will progress into the more advanced aspects of the language. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. I love to teach and to help.

I love to help others, and I have been tutoring and helping my three younger sisters throughout school for several years. The first time that I tutored was in a college writing lab. This was a rewarding experience as I saw the progression of well developed essays over the course of each semester. I also tutored elementary school students in reading. I spent one year tutoring middle school students in reading and a year teaching them the same subject.
