As a graduate teaching associate at the Ohio State University and having studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences of Aachen, I have practical experience dealing with all forms of parlance in the German language. These strengths, combined with a deep knowledge of and fluency in the German language, prepare me to make a strong impact as a tutor. I have extensive teaching skills in the German language due to my time as a graduate teaching associate, having coached and tutored students in mass and one on one.
I use all methods of second language acquisition in my teaching. Most of the exercises I use to help beginning are communicative methods. A Little Bit About Me...

When I was in 7th and 8th grade I participated in America Reads where I helped teach elementary children how to read. In college I assisted with my church youth group and led classes approximately once a month for two years. During 2010 I volunteered with a Kindergarten class. I assisted the students with in-class assignments in writing and math. I hold a bachelors degree in accounting with a minor in vocal performance. I also studied German during this time. I have completed 17.5 semester hours towards a masters degree in liberal studies with a focus in international business and German. I am currently working on my MBA and plan to complete it in December of 2012.
