I graduated from Morehouse College with a BA in Spanish. My interest in teaching Spanish evolved from my undergraduate experience as a tutor where I developed the confidence in my ability to assist others in learning the language. My first official teaching experience began at a foreign language magnet high school. That was a rewarding experience in so far as being able to apply my knowledge on a more expansive scale. My Spanish language skills have been advanced by life experiences working in multi-cultural communities where Spanish is spoken prevalently. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I took an interest in tutoring children. I began my tutoring experience as a volunteer at a local elementary school near the college.
