I don't just want to regurgitate information to a student; I want them to learn. I allow them to try to complete and assignment, and if they ask questions, I think of the child's learning style. How they learn affects how I explain it to them or how I show them. If they are having trouble understanding, i will model their question and answer it correctly. I will ten ask them the differences between the two. I am very patient, easygoing, and I give praise often.
I graduated with my BS in CSD and am now going for my Master's. I have worked with children of all ages specifically in literacy, writing, and speech. I am comfortable teaching up to and including Algebra,any history, and elementary school science.
