My comments on tutoring TOEFL : Able to help with subject

I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. In addition, I have the content knowledge of the academic subjects, am confident, and interested in what I am tutoring. I graduated with an MA in English (TESOL), and a BA in English Composition (writing). I have had a successful career as an English Instructor. My notable areas of expertise include writing (essays, GREs, SATs, TOEFLs, resume writing, etc.), grammar/linguistics, reading skills, oral communication, and vocabulary development. I am proficient in several foreign languages as well: Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, and some Spanish.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children and young people all my adult life from teaching VBS as a teenager to presently being a tutor and substitute teacher. In addition to my majors, I have minors in Greek and Western Culture. I wrote a substantial Master's Thesis. For the past 12 years I have also worked as a pastor. Part of my work in this capacity involves writing and presenting two sermons every week which is equivalent to researching, writing and presenting two ten page papers every week.
