A Little Bit About Me...

The number of years teaching and tutoring is a fuzzy area. I am a graduate student and I have been a teaching assistant for about 2 years, which consists of instructing laboratory, discussion hours and office hours. I have a BA in chemistry, which is certified by the American Chemical Society, so my study of chemistry covered all the major fields, including the laboratory, so I know applications of most of the theories that are taught. I have been a TA for both General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry.
The best word to describe my teaching is flexible. Students learn concepts in different ways. When each quarter begins and I hold my first discussion, I always start off saying that this time is the student's time. If my teaching style does not work with everyone let me know.
